What is Projecting Hope?

More than a movie. It's a movement. We fill theaters with free, faith-inspired nights. Big screen, real community — all built to move hearts and lift up missions that matter. Come for the story. Leave a part of something bigger!

Is it really free? How does that work?

Yes — your tickets and popcorn are covered! You may see a small processing fee at checkout (a dollar or less) — just enough to confirm real ticket orders and cover ticketing costs. If cost is truly an issue, let us know and we'll cover the processing fee as well.

Here's how it works:
• Sponsors and generous patrons cover the cost
• You show up and enjoy an incredible experience
• Hope Causes win — partners gain exposure and connect with people ready to help.

What kinds of events do you do?

Three kinds:
• Early Access Premieres — see brand-new faith films before public release date.
• Film Festival — one weekend a year, the best of the best.
• Big-Screen Faith Nights — every week, Bible studies, pastors, comedians, and more.

How often do events happen?

Here's the rhythm:
• 3–4 Early Access Premieres — major new films spread through the year
• 1 Film Festival — every spring, three days of the best
• Weekly Faith Nights — Spring and Fall, more laid-back evenings (Bible studies, pastor teachings, comedians, and more)

Is every event family-friendly?

There's something for everyone — but not every film or event is for everyone. Some nights handle more mature topics or sensitive subject matter (deeper documentaries, certain films, tougher themes). We mark those clearly up front so you can decide who comes. Always check the event details before bringing the kids.

Should I show up early?

It is best to show up 15–20 minutes early. We often kick things off with interactive openings, community moments, and surprises you won't want to miss. Come for the full experience.

How do I get tickets and know about events near me?

Sign up for Event Alerts and pick your theater. The moment something drops near you, we'll email or text you. Tickets will be available on this site once showing dates are confirmed.

Can I pick my seat?

We're rolling out reserved seating — so at most events you'll pick your spot when you claim your ticket, just like a regular movie. Some events may still be general admission, so arrive a little early to grab your favorite seat.

What if I sign up but can't make it?

Every ticket is sponsored — someone made your attendance possible, either sponsors or generous patrons. Please make every effort to use your seat. If something genuinely comes up, let us know right away so another person can take your spot. We know life happens — we just don't want any seats going to waste.

What are Hope Causes?

10 partner missions we lift up — scholarships, adoption, clean water, food for hungry families, disaster relief, and more. We show short 30-second to 1-minute clips before the film and hand out impact cards that help you know what opportunities exist if you feel led to get involved.

Do I have to donate or do anything?

No expectations. Your night is free. Come, enjoy, take it all in. That said, your support or gift is what allows us to impact more people and more causes. If you feel led to give, you're helping grow the movement. If not, we're just glad you came.
